#17 test drives

My friend and family photographer Lisa let me bourow one of her camera to take for a test drive. I love it! I'm definitely going to ask santa for one.

#16 Belts

Last week the kids tested for their yellow belts. PJ and Ben both

moved on to yellow belt and Matt and Ella both got a yellow stripe

on their white belts. Plus they all got to break a board, it was

a little board but still really neat to see them do.

#15 Photoshop

I have had photoshop elements on my mac for about six months or so but I rarely us it. However yeasterday I found a great site called Paint the moon that sells actions and has some free actions too. Actions are editing tool that pretty much do all the work for you. I edited this picture of Penny in about 8 mins. Really it was that fast. I think it took an Okay picture of Penny standing in grammy Junes fort lawn and turned it into something that a photographer would have in their portfolio(if I was a pro I would put it in mine).

#14 Dancing

I love to dance and so do the kids. Mr. Tripp not so much. But my Mr. Ben is a shameless dancer and I love that about him.

Incase you were wondering he got those sweet moves from me.

It's been a really busy week so heres #8 thru #13

#8 BIRTHDAYS!

Today is PJ's 9th birthday. I love the kids birthdays, most of you know why.

#9 PARTIES!

PJ had quite a party today. It took me all week to clean the house and decorate. If you can't tell he had a Transformer Birthday. Every kid got a autobot or decpticon t-shirt to wear during the party and take home (I thought 9 year old might be to big for goodie bags).

#10 ARTS & CRAFT

I tried filled some of our party time with a craft. Each kiddo made a autobot mask. This took all of 5 minutes.

#11 CAKE! CAKE POPS! COOKIES! OH MY!

We had two cakes today, cake pops, cookies, candy popcorn, twizlers, jello, pizza, kool aid and oh yah orange slices. It makes my tummy hurt just thinking about all the sugar that was eaten.

#12 GOOD FRIENDS

PJ had 8 friends, 3 cousins, 2 bothers, 2 sister, and 1 uncle celebrate with him today, plus a hand full of adult to help supervise the festivities (thanks Melanie, Cameron, Grammy and Mr. Tripp). Our house was packed out. We were very bless to have wonderful weather so we could fill the kids with sugar them send them to the back yard to play. PJ was SOOOOO very thrilled to have all of his school buddies and family over.

#6 Tiny Diva

Penelope is all girl. She's a my tiny diva and loves to play dress up and admire herself in the mirror.

Zero prompting was needed to got these pictures. The second the camera comes out she hams it up.

#7 Boys and their toys

Every one love to us the leaf blower, even myself. Today we let Matt "play" with the blower(don't tell him its work).

Matt thought is was great fun to chase me around the yard with the blower.

Really who isn't thankful for cookies. My freind Heater has got my hooked on cookie decorating. I use this recipe from Bake at 350 and tutorials from University Cookie for decorating tips.
